Position: Tax and Accounting Technology Analyst
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation, maintenance, and improvement of commercial tax and accounting software tools, including Lacerte, UltraTax, CS Accounting, and QuickBooks.
- Analyze business and workflow requirements in a CPA firm environment.
- Customize reporting and integration processes using Python scripts and other automation tools.
- Assist with migrating firm systems from local servers to cloud-based platforms.
- Document internal processes and train team members on software functionality and firm-specific procedures.
- Troubleshoot application errors and collaborate with vendors or internal staff to implement solutions.
Qualification:
- A master’s degree in Science, Technology, or Engineering (any) is required.
Work location:
- Spring, TX and various unanticipated locations throughout the U.S.
